Our story began in 1887 in the small town of Bennington, Kansas. What started as a single-branch operation in Bennington, has grown to sixteen locations in thirteen Kansas communities. For over 135 years, we’ve proudly served individuals, businesses and communities across Kansas, building a legacy as your trusted hometown bank.
Bennington State Bank and Flint Hills Bank Join
We are excited to share that Flint Hills Bank, Hartford State Bank, Bank of Burlingame, and Bank of Osage City will soon be merging with Bennington State Bank! This partnership will officially begin in April 2026, and the full transition is expected to be complete by end of May or beginning of June 2026. Until then, Flint Hills Bank will continue to operate as usual, ensuring a smooth transition for all of our valued customers.
