After we transition Alliance Bank accounts to Bennington State Bank, your direct deposits (including Social Security, payroll or other ACH deposits) will credit to your new Bennington State Bank account automatically. For best practices, please reach out to your payor to update the information. If you need assistance, please contact us.

Yes. You will receive debit card activation instructions with your new card and a PIN mailer with your new number. You will have the ability to change your PIN to the same PIN you have today when activating your new card.

You will receive a new Bennington State Bank debit card in early January before conversion. You will continue to use your Alliance Bank debit card until conversion. You may activate your Bennington State Bank debit card upon receipt; however, you will not be able to use it until your account transitions to Bennington State Bank.

Since your checking account number will remain the same after the January conversion, you may continue using your Alliance Bank checks and deposit slips through the end of 2025.  Check orders placed in January and going forward will receive Bennington State Bank checks.
