The Deposit Operations Specialist works within a team environment and provides direct support to bank operations through transaction maintenance and balancing in an effort to provide excellent service to the organization and the customer while meeting all regulatory requirements.


  • Bank transactions and account maintenance
  • Cash letter creation and file downloads
  • Proof work
  • Account balancing
  • Data Entry
  • Mail Collection
  • Lockbox
  • Electronic banking and Mobile Deposit entry/review

  • General understanding of banking transactions.
  • High school degree or GED required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • 10-key machine and typing skills
  • Basic analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail


  • Must be attentive to detail
  • Capable of managing multiple responsibilities and strict deadlines
  • Use critical thinking skill to identify and resolve problems independently
  • Utilize time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Provide outstanding internal and external customer service
  • Maintain a positive attitude
