Position Summary:

The IT Support Specialist position resolves issues raised by the Bank’s employees and customers.  Primary tasks include answering emails, tickets, and phone calls, to resolve technical issues while documenting problems and resolutions and communicating issue resolution details to other IT staff.  Secondary tasks include identifying common problems and suggesting improvements to lower support request volume, assisting with minor IT projects, and becoming familiar with all Bank systems.

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot networks, servers, hardware systems, operating systems and application technical issues
  • Connects users to networks and provides training for Bank systems
  • Create and manage technical documentation
  • Assist the team with project implementation
  • Ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures
  • Coordinates activities with the Information Technology department and Operations department
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1- 3 years’ experience in Information Technology Support / Helpdesk
  • Professional, teachable, willing to learn and open minded
  • Customer Service mindset
  • Detail oriented
  • A team player, courteous, pleasant to work with
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interact with people of all technical skill levels
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. (servers)
  • Availability to work weekends occasionally
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to branch location (in Kansas)

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • Occasional Weekends
